Victorian Goldfields Railway is the authentic steam heritage train linking the historic gold mining towns of Castlemaine and Maldon in Central Victoria. We are seeking a Volunteer bus driver for our organization.

Duties include:

  • Maintain vehicle log book as required; cleanliness of the vehicle’s interior and exterior; and vehicle’s first aid kit.
  • Meet the requirements of the volunteer role.
  • OHS of all staff and service users

Hours and days can vary but mainly Wednesdays and Sundays which are regular passenger running days. The bus is required at lunchtime to transport visitors from the Maldon station into Maldon township, a 5 minute trip, at 12:45 to take passengers from the Station then pick them up again at 14:30 in the town to come back to the station.

Previous bus driving experience would be well regarded. A full car licence held for more than 12 months is all that is required as the bus is classified as a light rigid vehicle.

Support and training will be provided.
